Our Core Convictions
To promote the election of delegates to General and Jurisdictional Conferences who are committed to ensuring that the Book of Discipline and the election of bishops reflect those same principles of Wesley and the Bible.
To advocate for the selection of representatives and/or leaders among Conference entities to have voice and influence for these principles in North Georgia.
We are committed to fair and open elections.
We are committed to the open discussion of issues.
We are committed to social and cultural diversity in all elected bodies of the Conference and Church.
We are committed to the integrity of Wesleyan doctrine as expressed in our Discipline and the Articles of Faith.
We are committed to the integrity and primary authority of Scripture as the standard for the church’s life and practice.

“I am not afraid that the people called Methodists should ever cease to exist either in Europe or America. But I am afraid lest they should only exist as a dead sect, having the form of religion without the power. And this undoubtedly will be the case unless they hold fast both the doctrine, spirit, and discipline with which they first set out.”
Rev. John Wesley
